Am I understanding it correctly? Ovinto is essentially a visibility platform?
Ovinto is much more than that, but we understand the confusion. We create true operational visibility within an organization. Not just in terms of transportation, but in every operational process. Every process? Every operational process!
Ovinto is a planning tool?
Not quite. A planning tool performs an initial analysis and then waits for human action or reaction. Ovinto, on the other hand, uses the same—and more!—data and the analysis conducted to immediately take the next steps: instructions and directives. We eliminate human waiting time, phone calls, practical intermediation, inquiries, and searching.
Eliminating inefficiency?
Eliminating inefficiency creates space for improvement. A process free from relatively slow interventions and interactions runs smoother, more reliably, and more efficiently. The available human energy and existing talent can immediately be better utilized as well.
But we handle those manual, human tasks quickly ourselves...
True. But why continue doing it that way? "We've always done it like this" are the most costly words an entrepreneur can say. The mini-app performs faster, better, with more knowledge, more information, and without falling into the same mistakes or repeating unnecessarily. The command center adjusts based on the outcome, remains flexible, and subsequent validation allows continuous improvement.
Is a single large ERP system not more interesting?
Undoubtedly, but that doesn't exist. There's no such thing as one linked and streamlined system that helps automate and manage key business processes, and it won't happen. Our modular mini-app(s) approach the ideal and allow for adjustment and refinement at the same time.
